Having obtained my law degree at the KUL (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) in 1998, I combine +15 years bar and in-house legal counsel experience, including as legal interim manager. I also worked seven years in a sales and business development position.
My field of expertise is general business law, with a special focus on commercial contracts and corporate law. Regulatory (REACH, financial regulatory) and compliance (data privacy, anti-bribery) are also part of my practice.
It is my conviction that legal counsel and support shall be solid, to the point, understandable and practical. As the legal side of a question is always connected to a broader picture, I seek collaboration on an interdisciplinary level (with engineers, scientists, sales, executive management, etc.). I’m used to work in an international and multicultural context (especially Benelux, Germany, Middle East, USA). I work fluently in German, Dutch, French and English, on a daily basis.
