Lionel sarted his career as a tax consultant with an international audit and consulting firm, where he worked for more than 6 years.

He was particularly involved in direct tax matters (corporate income tax, legal entity income tax and personal income tax), for both advisory and litigation matters.

He has also been involved in a number of restructuring and acquisition projects, both nationally and internationally, and has assisted various family offices and shareholders of family businesses, particularly in matters of governance and asset structuring.

Lionel is the author of a book on the Belgian corporate income tax consolidation regime and regularly publishes articles in specialized legal journals.  He is also a regular speaker at seminars and conferences.
